As a dedicated martial artist who spent an intensive year training at a traditional Kung Fu school in China, Ben developed his skills under the tutelage of Shifu Shi Yanjun, a 34th generation Shaolin warrior monk and former Chinese National Sanda Champion. Training up to six hours daily, Ben immersed himself completely in both external and internal martial arts, mastering the delicate balance of power, technique, and mindfulness that defines true Kung Fu. His expertise extends seamlessly into yoga practice, where he applies the same philosophical principles of mind-body integration and spiritual discipline.
